I like the book. I found the book very interesting, because of the variety of details explaining specific facts about earthquakes, people’s statements, and reactions. This book answered all the questions I had about an earthquake I needed to know. It also made me aware of the actual outcome of an earthquake.

  2. First of all, let me say that this book has amazing information i have in thi book I learn about the greatest earthquake in the world especialy theone that happend in LISBON in 1775. I learned about some definition such epicenter, which is a point directly above the true center of disturbance, from which the shock wave appenrently radiate.

It is very important to know these natural disasters especially the earthquake. Based on my knowledge, when we put playing aside and talk of reality, I think that we can run but we can’t hide in terms of abstaining from these natural disasters. It is good to be aware of them and also know exactly how they take place. I recommend this book for you because it tells you what you need to know about the earthquake, and it comes with quality pictures, which you will never forget its images for decades. I think that, there is no need for me to say too much details about this book, I suggest you go and read it for yourself.

The topic on which I am going to talk about EARTHQUAKES .,But I am not going to talk about the development of the whole book, I am just going to emphasize on what impressed me during the reading . Not only is the book easy to understand, but is also gives you all you need to know about this geological phenomenon of the earth . The amazing thing is that people face it. Although it is natural disaster, people created the seismograph, a tool to help them to measure the intensity, but also to warn them of the coming of the danger. Therefore, there are plenty of things to learn in this book, so I recommend it to you to read it then you can have a more better understanding of earthquakes.

I found this book boring because I already knew about earthquakes. The reason why I found this book boring is because in high school, I was taught by the teachers about earthquakes and did 3 projects on the subject. The reason why I chose the book was because of the front cover; I read the first few pages and then lost interest because I already knew most of this information.
